February 22, 2020 - Winner of the Nightcrawler’s Net Guessing Game “What’s Hap’s Blood Sugar?”

The game is called “What’s Hap’s Blood Sugar.” The game was created in conjunction with the Saturday night Nightcrawler’s Net and our own Hap Holly (KC9RP). It is played on most Saturday nights. We’ve even had guests fill in for Hap when he wasn’t available. The game is simple - we go around the rag chew table, everyone takes a guess at Hap’s blood sugar, and his Siri announces his number. The one closest, without going over, gets bragging rights for the week. When we have a winner who guesses the number on-the-nosey, they win not only bragging rights, but also a can of chickpeas, and a box of Rice-A-Roni, the San Francisco treat.

These pictures are of JC (KD9JWZ), our first BIG winner. In this picture, JC is being awarded top prize by Saturday night’s Net Controller, John (KD9BYW). His big prize? A can of chickpeas and a box of Rice-a-Roni, the San Francisco treat. We met up with JC at the LaPorte County Amateur Radio Club’s Cabin Fever Hamfest in LaPorte, Indiana on February 22, 2020.
